On the high seas or in rail vehicles, electrical connection solutions are required that are particularly safe, flexible, robust, and resilient. Very high-performance solutions are therefore used for power feeds in switchgear and distribution cabinets. Environmental factors such as high humidity, corrosive atmospheres, high mechanical loads, or vibrations can have a strong impact on switchgear.
