In control cabinets, a growing number of components have to be accommodated in a very confined space. As a result, the connection of conductors for power feed-in is becoming more and more demanding – especially with large cross-sections. Our wide range of connection solutions enables convenient wiring even under difficult environmental conditions. The compact design and a combination of many practical details for convenient handling make power feed-in in switchgear and control panels simple, efficient, and space-saving.
The additional connection for the cross section from 50 mm² up to 185 mm² enables a separate voltage tap. One possible use is as an emergency power supply upstream of the main switch. The lever mechanism enable tool less wiring of flexible conductors.
Large-area marker tags direct attention to an external voltage applied. Fixation of the flash markers in the connection areas of 35 mm² to 185 mm² also prevents circuitry in the live state. This ensures greater safety for man and machine.

Many applications require a high technological density in a confined space. In addition, copper cables are frequently replaced by low-cost aluminium, which requires connection types that match each other. WPD power feed terminals enable the simple and safe connection of aluminium and copper conductors in the smallest space – either directly or on top-hat rails. Due to the good ergonomics, even large cross-sections can be connected effortlessly. Even different cross-sections can be connected easily. Branching of main lines or feeders can be realised just as easily with WPD feeder terminals as a power supply or monitoring connection.
When supplying devices in the control cabinet, there is an increased risk of faulty connections due to the large number of conductors and the increasingly limited busbar space. With our customised potential distribution terminals, you can set up compact control voltage distributions quickly and easily – with or without fuses. The considerable space saving and low wiring effort makes control cabinet construction particularly efficient.
Additional connections on the supply pane save on components and assembly time. Depending on the system structure, further space savings of 3.5 or 5.1 mm are possible.
The fuse can be replaced quickly and easily by simply releasing and opening the fuse holder on the system.
The AAP system is completed by the addition of terminal blocks for connecting protective earthing conductors. Protective earthing conductors can be wired centrally and provide clarity in the entire network.
Thanks to the modular system, another terminal block can be attached and expanded using an additional cross-connection in the second cross-connection channel.

The combination of disconnecting lever, short-circuit bridge and lever link in a single system guarantees that the secondary wiring of a current transformer is short-circuited before the longitudinal disconnection takes place. This "Make Before Break" contact is designed for up to four terminals.
