If there is an element symbol beneath the symbol, the battery contains the chemical element specified: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb).

Products marked with a crossed-out rubbish bin must not be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste or household waste! If personal data is stored on an electrical device, you are responsible for deleting this data before the device is disposed of.

• If an old device contains batteries or rechargeables, remove them and dispose of the old device and the batteries/rechargeables separately.
• Take the old equipment, batteries and rechargeables to a collection point set up in accordance with national legislation in your municipality or region.
• Alternatively, you can send old Weidmüller devices after use properly packaged to your local Weidmüller sales organisation. We will take care of their professional disposal free of charge.
• Try to reduce waste by having products repaired and by using rechargeable batteries.
