Weidmüller, the electronics and connection technology specialist, has been honoured with the EcoVadis Gold Medal for its commitment to sustainability. With this achievement, Weidmüller ranks among the top 3% of companies in its industry rated by EcoVadis.
For its commitment to sustainability, EcoVadis has awarded the Detmold-based family-owned company Weidmüller the Gold Medal. The independent international platform for sustainability ratings analyses and assesses the performance of companies in the key areas of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. With the Gold award, EcoVadis has recognised Weidmüller’s sustainable development as a company. The current rating puts Weidmüller among the top 3% of companies rated by EcoVadis in its industry, the manufacture of electronic components and printed circuit boards. Furthermore, Weidmüller ranks among the top 6% of all companies rated by EcoVadis. Companies are assessed based on the categories of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
