Simple and clear – finally a clearly defined and documented system for the marking of all forms of equipment. Thanks to M-Print® PRO eCAD. With M-Print® PRO eCAD the appropriate marker is automatically connected to the material database and all the resulting documentation. A benefit for panel builders as the technical documentation is complete with all the defined marking data, available either in the office or mobile on the shop floor. This results in a large potential for better quality and project efficiency allowing a higher throughput of projects with better margins.
M-Print® PRO eCAD digitalises the processes after the design phase, eliminating potential sources of failure and guaranteeing a clear overview of the panel. The system generates a data file with all of the relevant information necessary to source the markers and print the labels.
A well planned marking system helps service specialists to quickly identify the various components within the panel. M-Print® PRO eCAD allows technicians to work quicker and more efficiently to avoid failures. The Weidmüller interface connects your CAE software with our marking software and guarantees a continuous data flow.
With M-Print® PRO eCAD, the appropriate markers are assigned to terminal blocks, devices and cable types to ensure a standardised marking system. Dependent on the application and environment, the designer can choose the appropriate medium. As a fixed element of the technical documentation, a complete print data is available for the workshop – manual data input is no longer necessary. Thanks to the routine checks of the CAE system, the data is complete and failure free.
Receive a detailled overview into the optimising potential of M-Print® PRO eCAD.
The printjob defines the medium (Multimark, Multicard, Metallicard, Labels or heat shrinks) and defines which printer (inkjet or thermal transfer) ist o be used. The marking itself defines whether black/white or colour, text or picture. The optimal length is automatically defined for endless markers
“Today, the designer can generate the connection list in the EPLAN with ease, as well as the sequence of markers that need to be printed as a result. The electrician in turn can use the right markers at the right time and do so efficiently and with minimal idle time.”
