The water flow in the secondary sedimentation tank is very low, allowing activated sludge and chemical sludge to settle on the tank floor. Both are continuously suctioned off and sent to sludge treatment. This results in 99 % of the dirt load being removed from the wastewater. To obtain optimum water quality in the sedimentation tank, the pH value, opacity and nitrate content need to be constantly monitored and controlled.
The necessary signal distribution in the panel can be implemented efficiently using low-maintenance Klippon® Connect terminal blocks and the associated marking systems.
