In today’s world people feel that their lives are getting more and more complicated. And they are right: technology and society are developing quickly, globalization is increasing and competition is getting tougher.
We believe that the only way to overcome these challenges is by working together: by every single one of us continuing to learn and by investing in the innovative capacity of our company on a daily basis.
It was against this background that we founded the Weidmüller Academy in 2003, as a business unit within the Weidmüller Group. Here we are able to bring together all for securing young talent, for qualification and for building up and sharing knowledge within the company as well as with external institutions, universities and partners.
We work at a regional, national and international level - taking globalization into account. We are keeping a close eye on the challenges of the future and changes in the global markets. With this in mind, we continually work with staff to identify their training needs and to develop suitable offers.
We are growing continually - in Germany and abroad. In 2011 we founded the Weidmüller Academy Asia to build expertise in China and the Asia-Pacific region. A local academy not only gives us greater proximity to our staff and customers, but also to the next generation of potential talents, regional trends and requirements.
We also consider our customers as partners: we have developed specific training courses which give them the opportunity to find out about our latest solutions and products, and how they can be used.
The success of the Academy is a validation of our strategy: we have won several awards for our wide range of services over the last few years. However, recognition from within the company and our network is even more important than awards from others. We can see this from the ever-increasing demand for our offers.
