Only in rare cases is there an area available for a wind farm which permits a regular, screen-like arrangement of the turbines. Much more frequently, the installation locations are within small, irregular fields or mountain-side meadows. This places special challenges on the construction of communication structures, as the wind turbines are separated from each other at varied distances.
