Initial situation
Industrias IEM manufactures liquid filled transformers that are deployed in the distribution of electricity in low, medium and high voltage applications. The liquid is used for heat dissipation and isolation purposes in the transformers. Constant monitoring is of the highest relevance in applications of this kind. However, due to the wide variety of transformers offered by Industrias IEM the company required a large number of different temperature converters and was in search of a component suitable for universal deployment.
Solution
Being precise and stable the universal signal converter WAVE TTA is suitable for operating with all usual types of sensors in a broad range of ambient temperatures from -40 to +75 °C. The WAVE TTA can be utilised for practically every kind of resistance thermometer there is. The user can easily configure the multitude of possible input and output ranges via the separate CBX200 USB interface using the software TTA-Set.
