Initial situation
Bull Automation’s assembly system needs to function without errors, so that they have the time and trust required to help their customers with innovative improvements. This is why Bull Automation looked to its successful partnership with Weidmüller for help in developing a simple, smooth system for transmitting signals in the field.
Solution
Weidmüller used a real project (an assembly system for eyeglass lenses) to test the SAI-Active Universal PRO in an IP 67 application outside of the electrical cabinet. After the trouble-free installation, a Weidmüller technician helped Bull Automation to assign the proper field bus addresses, to configure the SAI distributor, and to administer the sensors and actuators.
