Dr. Jürgen Ober

Dr. Jürgen Ober (born 1957) began his career at Mannesmann DEMAG Duisburg after completing his studies of law and subsequent activities at the University of Cologne. He held several positions in the field of human resources at Mannesmann, including the support of the domestic as well as the international management, and last as the HR manager for the Compressed Air Technology division in Frankfurt and Simmern/Hunsrück. In 1997 Dr. Ober changed to ABB Germany, where he was the HR manager of Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH. In 2003 he became member of the Executive Board with additional responsibility as HR Director for the Automation Products division of ABB Germany. On October 1, 2007, Dr. Ober was appointed HR Director with global responsibility for HR management and Member of the Management Board of the Weidmüller Group.
