RIDERSERIES FG

Weidmüller has added to its RIDERSERIES a relay with forcibly guided contacts. With a diagnostic coverage of 99 %, relays with forcibly guided contacts are counted among the well-proven components in security systems.

With interlocking contacts, the relays guarantee for a synchronous switching status of two contact pairs. This makes sure that in case of failure (for example due to overload when welding the make contact) the signal contact maintains the same switching status. Querying the signal contact and comparing predicted with actual (security) control values enables to introduce measures to protect man and machine in case of errors.

A metal bracket ensures secure grip even under harsh environmental conditions.

• Versatile connection possibilities

The base is optionally available with approved screw connection or time efficient tension clamp connection.

• Comfortable

In case of errors, a quick replacement is possible without dissolving the cord.

• Safety relay output control

By interconnecting two switching relays with a safety control or emergency stop devices, it is possible to develop effective safety control circuits according to the given structure referring to EN ISO 13849-1 (Category 3 and 4).

• On-site diagnosis

The highly visible LED display module with integrated diode protects the upstream electronics.
