stripax® plus 2.5

The stripax® plus 2.5 combines three functions in one tool: cutting, stripping and crimping. For the first time only one tool is needed – and never needs to be put down – to prepare a wire end so that is ready for connection. It accommodates wire cross-sections from 0.5 to 2.5 mm2 so that it can be put to many different uses. The tool has an optimal ergonomic design so that is can be used without pain or stress.

In the rail industry, the stripax® plus 2.5 proves its worth during the installation of door controls. While installing in an overhead position it can be quite awkward and unhelpful if you have to repeatedly swap the tools that you are using. The stripax® plus 2.5 three-in-one tool not only saves time, but also makes the job more comfortable and convenient.

Cutting

Thanks to the integrated cable cutter, the stripax® plus 2.5 is able to precisely cut to a specific length.

Stripping

Put the wire in the stripping unit. Squeeze the handles. Remove the stripped wire.

Crimping

Insert the stripped wire sideways in the crimping die. The wire-end ferrules have already been automatically fed in and positioned there. Squeeze the handles. Remove the crimped wire.

Adjust the dial if needed

Press the dial and turn to the required wire cross-section range. The crimping cylinder snaps in with a clearly audible and palpable click. The dial can be adjusted in three ranges: 0.5 to 0.75 mm², 1.0 to 1.5 mm² and 2.5mm².
