This user-friendly infrastructure solution interconnects power, signals and data via rail in a quick and reliable manner. Supplying, connecting or distributing within modular applications, the DIN rail bus replaces the tedious manual wiring by a flexible and uninterruptable system solution. As a result, the wiring overhead and the error rate are both reduced. Redundant functions within complex applications can be efficiently centralised or intelligently distributed.

The system bus is securely integrated within the 35 mm standard DIN rail. Designed for the reflow soldering process, the SMD-bus contact block can be automatically processed during the component assembly. The resistant, gold-plated contact surfaces ensure a permanent and reliable contact for all housing widths.

Efficient: The SMD-compatible bus contact block is made from high-temperature-resistant LCP. This molding material is perfectly qualified for the SMT reflow process and is delivered in machine-ready packaging.

Maximum availability

Reliable: Five fully-galvanised and partially gold-plated twin-arched contacts provide a permanent and reliable contact with the rail bus. The unique THR solder flanges ensure a stable mechanical fixation with the PCB.

Cost-efficient manufacturing

Fully automatic: No manual post-processing is required for the bus contact block – it is automatically assembled and soldered with the device package in one single SMT process.

Secure installation

Low power loss: Accidental bus interruptions as well as high contact resistances are reliably avoided. Maximum plant availability is ensured by both, the consistent system design plus the gold-plated system bus resp. contact block surfaces.

All-purpose integration

The uninterruptable system bus is securely integrated within the 35 mm standard DIN rail. Whether 7.5 mm or 15 mm high – the perfect-fit rail profile makes for easy installation on all TS-35 standard rails, in accordance with DIN EN 60715.
