With 17.5 A instead of 8 A, the connectors feature more than twice the current-carrying capacity possible with previous standards. That means 100 % more energy without derating at ambient temperatures up to 65 °C and with derating up to a maximum of 120 °C.

Tool-free connection – intuitive disconnection
The PUSH IN spring connection method enables a direct wiring with no tools required – simply plug in the prepared conductors and it’s ready to go! An intuitive disconnection is made possible thanks to the large easy-to-use buttons.

Minimum height – maximum cross-section
Though the components are very compact, 1.5 mm² wires together with conductor sleeve and plastic shroud can be connected without any difficulties.

Comfortable locking – gentle release
The patent-registered release bars are easy to use and enable a comfortable locking and gentle release. The locking is clearly noticable what is especially beneficial in non-visible areas.

Code in advance – process universally
The coding keys made of high-quality LCP are reflow compatible and can be mounted even prior to soldering, e.g. directly ex works. Thanks to this consistent process, problems like deforming or losing of the coding keys are succesfully avoided.

Efficient mounting – process-secure soldering
The connectors are dimensionally stable during all soldering processes and do not need to be dried before processing. Through the LCP high-temperature material, there are temperature reserves in the solder profile and during operation. A two-sided SMD assembly is possible through the short pins. The solder flange fixes the header without an additional screw connection being necessary.
