Weidmüller won the product design award 2008 with its AM 16 and AMF 6/10
This total commitment also impressed the jury of the 'iF design awards'. With its AM 16 and AMF 6/10 Weidmüller won the 'product design award 2008', walking off with the prestigious design prize renowned all over the world for more than 50 years. The 'iF winner' is named by a jury made up of internationally high-ranking members.
iF criteria pertaining to good design and quality are strict, with the members of the jury also looking closely to see if the companies honour their promises with regard to their products and their brand.
2,771 products from 35 countries were entered for the iF product design award 2008, an increase of some 20 percent compared to last year. This fact underlines the high reputation of the design competition. The product award (the iF label) is valid for the entire life cycle of the product.
